Cinnamon Desktop is the new desktop environment that will be coming with Linux Mint 13. You can get it on various other Linux distributions though including Ubuntu. To install Cinnamon Desktop on Ubuntu simply type the following commands and then change sessions to your newly installed desktop environment.
