Take Pictures With Your Webcam On Ubuntu 12.10

In this post I will show you how to very easily take pictures and record videos with your Webcam on Ubuntu 12.10. To do this the only thing you should really have to do is install an application called Cheese. You can do this by running the command found below or by using the Ubuntu Software Center. I will show you how to do this in the following steps. (One small note that I would like to make though is that it worked flawlessly on my Sony Viao Laptop which is running Ubuntu however on my desktop it didn’t work and I am assuming its because of drivers or the Webcam itself is broken.)
